Registration With Statutory Bodies

Updated: Oct 18, 2022

Once a new company has been formed and a company registration number obtained, the following governmental registrations need to be attended to and we are able to handle them on your behalf:

  1. Registration with SARS for payment of payroll taxes – PAYE/UIF/SDL;

  2. Registration with SARS for payment of Income Tax;

  3. Registration with Department Of Labour for UIF – payment is made to SARS but the company still needs to register with the Department Of Labour;

  4. Registration with Department Of Labour for Workmans Compensation;

  5. Registration with SARS for VAT – when a company’s annual turnover exceeds R1million for a 12month period, the company is required to register for VAT. A company can voluntarily register for VAT if its turnover will be more than R50 000 for a 12month period.
